Netflix just dropped the news that the next season of Monster will focus on none other than Lizzie Borden, and I am cautiously optimistic.

For those who need a refresher, Lizzie Borden became infamous in 1892 after being accused of brutally murdering her father and stepmother with an axe in Fall River, Massachusetts. Though she was acquitted, her name became legend—part true crime, part American folklore. Following the success of Monster: Dahmer and Monster: Ed Gein, this next chapter promises Victorian-era darkness, scandal, and psychological intrigue.

Honestly, I’m not too sure about this one…. I don’t know if you could top this season about Ed Gein. Lizzie Borden is just not Ed Gein, lol; not even close .

But I’ll watch irregardless, duh.
