But lately, as in this past week… they’ve actually been stepping it up. I found myself resubscribing because, honestly, they’ve got some seriously good stuff to stream right now. And at the top of that list is their new true-crime series “John Wayne Gacy.”

This show absolutely blew me away. As someone with a background in criminal justice and psychology, I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people like Gacy tick — the duality of charm and pure evil. This series doesn’t just rehash the usual “killer clown” story we’ve all heard a thousand times. It dives deeper, peeling back the layers of his twisted psyche while shining a light on the failures of the system that let him hide in plain sight for so long.

What I love most is how the show balances gritty realism with high production value — think chilling interviews, moody cinematography, and just the right amount of glitz and glam to keep it from feeling like a dry documentary. It’s dark, disturbing, and completely captivating.

So yeah, color me surprised — Peacock actually delivered something truly binge-worthy. If you’re into true crime, psychology, or just want something to make your jaw drop, “John Wayne Gacy” is 100% worth the resubscription.
