What to Watch Now: 5 Shows and Movies to Cure Your Post-Spring Break Blues

The tan lines are fading, the kids are back in school, and let’s be real—the “vacation from my vacation” starts now. After a week of projects and chaos, you deserve a binge-watch that doesn’t waste your time.

I’ve been scouring the streaming apps from my couch so you don’t have to. Here are the 5 titles on Hulu and Apple TV+ that are actually worth your precious “me-time” this week. The hearts will not lead you astray (and will keep boredom at bay – I’m sorry I couldn’t resist that bad pun)…

1. Imperfect Women (Apple TV+)
If you only watch one new thing this week, make it this. Starring Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington, this psychological thriller just premiered on March 18th and it is intense. It starts with a single crime that unravels the lives of three best friends. It’s got that “who can I actually trust?” vibe that kept me up way too late last night.
Watch if you liked: Big Little Lies or The Handmaid’s Tale.

2. Project Hail Mary (In Theaters / Amazon MGM) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ryan Gosling is back in space, and honestly, he should stay there. Based on the Andy Weir book (the guy who wrote The Martian), this is a massive survival story with incredible CGI. If you’re looking for a reason to actually leave the house and head to the theater, this is the blockbuster of the month. My anticipation is building to watch this, but my pocketbook is not so I shall wait.
Watch if you liked: The Martian or Interstellar.

3. The Beauty (Hulu/FX) – Season 1 Finale ❤️❤️❤️
The season finale just aired, which means you can now binge the entire thing in one go. Ryan Murphy’s take on a “beauty virus” is as unsettling as you’d expect. It’s bold, weird, and a little bit addicting. Perfect for a Tuesday night when you need to shut your brain off from the real world.
Watch if you liked: American Horror Story but want something “prettier” (and creepier).

4. For All Mankind (Apple TV+) – Season 5 Premiere ❤️❤️
Mark your calendars for Friday, March 27th! The best sci-fi show you aren’t watching (yet) is returning. We’re deep into the Mars colony now, and the political friction is better than most dramas on TV. It’s smart, sweeping, and looks absolutely stunning on a 4K screen.
Watch if you liked: Battlestar Galactica or high-stakes historical “What Ifs.”

5. Paradise (Hulu)❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
If you’re still mourning the end of Game of Thrones, give Paradise a shot. Crawl out from whatever Rock you have been hiding under and watch this show now! It’s got that same level of “I can’t believe they just did that” plotting but set in a high-tech mystery world. Season 2 has been a wild ride, and it’s the perfect show to discuss with your friends over a glass of wine.
Watch if you liked: The Truman Show or Westworld.
